Clients come to my clinic to seek expert advice about their skin. In a world where information is at our fingertips, marketing is clever, the skin care offering is a minefield, and there is an abundance of skin treatments available. It can be an overwhelming process to determine what is actually right for you. I am here to simplify this for you, to assess your skin, listen to your concerns, and using my expertise, create a tailored treatment plan, & guide you through your options of ways to look and feel your best.

Used To Soften Lines And Wrinkles & Prevent Facial Sagging

Botox® is a prescription medicine and has been around for over 20 years, used in both the cosmetic and medical field, Botox® should only be administered by a doctor or registered nurse with the appropriate training. Botox® is a naturally purified protein that softens and relaxes the muscle that is injected, with full results seen at 2 weeks, with ongoing improvement and longevity of 3-4 months.

The end goal of reducing the severity of lines and wrinkles resulting in a smoother, more youthful complexion. Over time with repeated facial expression and movement, the skin and its’ supporting structures start to break down, creating permanent expression lines and other visible signs of ageing in our skin.

The injecting of botulinum toxin is an art, and not all one treatment is the same. During consultation I assess the face holistically, my main objective is to address your skin concerns, and create harmony and balance to your face. My treatment goals are to allow you to still be “you”.

To continue to express yourself as you normally do, but with a softer, more rejuvenated appearance. All treatments are individually tailored and are based upon specialist knowledge in facial proportions and aesthetics. At Louise Highet Aesthetics, we offer both Botox (USA) Xeomin (Sweden) & Dysport (UK) for cosmetic improvements. Botox® is suitable for most people, however there are some contraindications; a thorough assessment is always conducted prior to undergoing treatment to determine suitability.

    Dysport $6 Botox $18 Xeomin $18

Used To Sculpt, Enhance And Lift The Face

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances made from hyaluronan- a complex chain of carbohydrates, and a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. Hyaluronan or commonly known as hyaluronic acid is responsible for keeping our skin hydrated, plump and youthful looking. As we age the quantities of Hyaluronan diminish, causing fine lines, textural changes, elasticity and volume loss. Dermal fillers are used to naturally re-volumize and hydrate skin. Different formulations are used for different areas to provide soft correction of hollows or areas of shadowing, sharpen jawlines and chins, soften fine lines, lift cheeks and enhance lips. I stock several brands of FDA approved dermal fillers, and do not split or decant syringes as this can compromise safety. At Louise Highet Aesthetics, I use only Hyaluranon based fillers as they are safe and biodegradable. Results are seen immediately and last 1- 2 years depending on the area treated and the formula used. Treatments take around 60-90 minutes, and are well tolerated, the injectable gels contain pain-reducing lidocaine, and other measures can also be used to minimise discomfort.

Used To Hydrate, Strengthen & Redensify The Skin

This revolutionary treatment, that has combined the benefits of both dermal needling for collagen stimulation & the injecting of micro droplets of an incredibly nourishing substance Teosyal Redensity. A series of very fine micro-needles via the V2 Auto Injector, a special device that delivers a powerful mix of highly concentrated hyaluronic acid and a combination of 8 antioxidants, amino acids, 3 minerals & B6 just under the surface of your skin by creating tiny punctures.

This treatment is designed to hydrate, stimulate collagen, elastin and repair damaged tissue. The result is visibly smoother, softer skin with improved clarity and skin tone, with a healthy hydrated glow! The needling action has been shown to decrease fine lines, broken capillaries, decrease pigment, and generally improve the texture of the skin. Teosyal Puresense Redensity 1 is designed to prevent premature skin aging, restore skin density and maintain skin glow.

It is an award-winning product which is composed of ingredients naturally found in the skin, which acts as an overall skin enhancer and revitaliser. Hyaluronic acid (HA), which holds 1000 x its’s weight in water has an intense hydrating effect & is naturally present in our body. It performs a fundamental role in keeping the skin in good health. This essential element of the dermis retains water like a sponge so as to maintain its hydration.

Over time, the levels of HA in our skin diminish, as a result of internal & external factors, this treatment is particularly beneficial for those with dehydrated or thinning skin, fine lines or crepe like tissue changes. This treatment can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands, the purpose of this treatment is to re-hydrate the skin, improving elasticity, fine lines, tone and texture and to support optimum skin health and function, and giving your skin hydrated radiance. Results will take a few days to be visible, but when they do, you’ll gradually appear fresher.

Fine lines will soften as they’re physically plumped by your skin, as it reabsorbs the moisture it has lost over time, it is just like giving your skin a huge drink of water! Hyaluronic acid is an absorbable molecule, meaning the effects are temporary and depend on several factors: skin type, age, lifestyle, treated area, injection technique. For an optimal result, an initial protocol of 3 sessions at 3-4 week intervals, and maintenance treatments every 6- 12 months is required.

$1950 for 3 treatments, including numbing cream & take home after care.

Used To Reduce Sub Mental Fat (Double Chin)

Belkyra® is the only FDA approved injectable treatment to improve the appearance of mild to moderate fullness of the chin, and to contour jawline. Whether your double chin is a result of weight gain, genetics or ageing, often sub-mental fullness cannot be removed with diet or exercise. Belkyra works by dissolving the outer layer of the fat cells, releasing the fat, which is then removed by the bodies repair systems and excreted. Belkyra® consists of a synthetic form of Deoxycholic Acid, that mimics the naturally occurring Deoxycholic Acid found within the body (a form of bile acid found in the intestine that breaks up fat).

Treatment duration is around 60 minutes, a series of injections are placed in the carefully marked area, comfort is increased with the use of ice and injected local anaesthetic. Swelling and inflammation is an expected outcome post treatment, this is visible immediately, and will continue to increase over the following few days. Swelling can remain for up to 14 days post treatment. Swelling in the area is actually a good thing, it is a sign the treatment is working, and the more inflammation present, the more the bodies healing processes are stimulated.

The average number of treatments required is 2-6 depending on the degree of sub-mental fullness and desired outcomes. You will not receive a result from one treatment, and your first treatment purchase includes 2 treatments that are recommended to be performed at 6-8 week intervals. Results are typically seen 4-8 weeks after the second treatment. The cost of Belkyra is $2500, this is for 2 treatments, which is the minimum number of treatments required, subsequent treatments cost $1400.

The most common side effects associated with Belkyra® include: pain at the injection site, swelling, bruising, numbness, redness, tingling, formation of small areas of hardness, warmth and discolouration, and itching around the treatment area. After treatment you can typically return to your normal day, however it is recommended to avoid excessive exercise, make up application and excessive alcohol, most clients opt to go home to relax after this treatment. An initial consultation is required to determine suitability, and to discuss further possible risks and side effects. Pregnant and breast feeding women are not suitable for Belkyra® treatment.

  • PRP
Used To Stimulate Soft Tissue Regeneration To Firm And Tighten The Skin, Stimulate New Cell Growth

PRP stands for ‘Platelet Rich Plasma’ PRP assists in the improvement of the skins texture, tone, and glow, and helps to regenerate aged and damaged skin. Platelet Rich Plasma uses the accelerated healing properties of your bodies own platelets and growth factors to stimulate cellular rejuvenation, collagen synthesis and improvement of the skin’s texture and elasticity. This treatment is wonderful for thin crepe-like skin, especially around the eyes and neck, including décolletage, full face and hands. Treatment takes around 60 minutes, and involves taking a sample of your blood- just like a blood test. The blood is then spun in a special device called a centrifuge, where the platelet rich plasma is separated from your red blood cells, then re-injected into the skin. Topical anaesthetic is used to minimise discomfort. As we are using your own bodies healing properties, the chance of an allergic reaction is rare, expected side effects are swelling, redness and possible bruising. Results can be seen within 4 weeks, and are cumulative- so the skin’s integrity will continue to improve with time. A course of treatments is recommended, 3-4 appointments, at 4 week intervals, and results can be maintained with a single repeat treatment every 6-12 months. Treatment from $600

Used To Improve The Health Of The Skin, Texture/Tone/Pigmentation/Hydration/Glow & More
Medical-grade, research based skin peels designed to work in conjunction with your current skin care routine. We have a variety of peels to cater for a range of skin types that will assist in targeting and improving sun damage, dehydration, enlarged pores and oil flow, skin tone, texture, hydration, pigmentation and congestion. Medical Peels work by increasing the skin’s cell turnover rate, bringing new skin cells to the surface, reducing signs of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and clearing breakouts. There are peels developed for even the most sensitive of skins, that can work to rebalance and improve the skin’s barrier function. Most people see a gradual improvement after their first treatment.

The total number of treatments varies depending on the condition of your skin and what you are trying to achieve, generally 4-6 at 4 week intervals. Treatment takes around 45 minutes, during treatment, you will feel a warm, tingly sensation, with mild discomfort felt during some of the stronger peels. Prior to any peel, we recommend that you are on medical grade skin care for 2- 4 weeks prior to treatment. This is to ensure your skin is prepped appropriately, to reduce sensitivity, and to ensure you will get the most out of your clinical peels. If you are not on medical grade skin care, your first step is to book in for a skin care consultation. Louise Highet Aesthetics proudly uses PCA medical peels, with over 25 years in formulating professional skin care treatments.

Results Orientated Skin Care To Address The Function Of The Skin. Treat, Maintain & Prevent

Book for a skin care consultation, including a wood’s lamp examination, barrier function/sensitivity assessment and product recommendations based on your skin concerns and observations. Louise takes a holistic approach to skin care and beauty, and believes good skin health is paramount, especially in our New Zealand climate. Louise has cherry picked medical grade products across several well researched ranges, which incorporate the latest in medically and scientifically researched ingredients to nourish, hydrate and rejuvenate skin, delivering optimal results. Free of colour additives, synthetic fragrances, harsh alcohols, comedogenic oils and other known sensitisers, they are designed to deliver results without irritation, and they do not test on animals.

Medical-grade skin care products contain a higher concentration of active ingredients because they are only dispensed by medical professionals trained to evaluate whether that concentration is appropriate for each client. The ingredient lists of most store products do not contain the ingredient concentrations, which makes impossible for the consumer to compare store bought and medical grade products.

Depending on your goals and the condition of your skin, over the counter products frequently produce much poorer results than the those obtained from a medical grade line. Medical grade skin care products are strong enough to reach, and correct problems in, deeper layers of the skin. Skin Consultations are recommended every 12 months to determine the correct products for your skin.

Used To Rapidly Stimulate Collagen & Elastin To Firm/Tighten/Address Pigmentation/Redness/Scarring.

Dermal needling is a rejuvenation procedure designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, scarring, stretch-marks and pigmentation. Our skin’s renewal process slows down as we age, so dermapen treatments are the safe, natural alternative to fight the aging process. Using a medical-grade dermal pen, a series of micro needles are gently passed over the skin, the oscillating needles create thousands of micro channels in the skin, creating controlled wounds, to stimulate collagen & elastin synthesis, resulting in a more vibrant complexion. Dermapen treatments naturally work from within. The natural wound-healing responses created by micro-needling treatments will kick start the production of collagen and elastin production. With the addition of meso-infusion technology, high-potency ingredients can be safely infused into the skin, catered to your skin requirements. Book for an initial consultation to discuss whether dermapen treatments are the best choice for your skin concerns.

Stretch marks & other treatment areas priced up per area size.

Morpheus8 Is A Revolutionary Method Of Skin Tightening That Rebuilds And Reinforces The Underlying Structure Of Your Skin Through Micro-Needling Combined With Radiofrequency (RF) Technology.

    What is the MORPHEUS8TM?

MORPHEUS8TM is a handheld radio frequency (RF) micro-needling device for skin rejuvenation and tissue remodeling. The minimally invasive treatment combines RF energy with micro-needling to penetrate heat into deeper levels of the dermis. The creation of controlled injury to the dermis results in increased collagen production and elastin.

    What are the benefits?

MORPHEUS8TM can be used to treat the face, neck, and many parts of the body to achieve visibly firmer and tighter skin. It is considered a safe treatment on all skin types, and can be used to effectively treat:

    • Fine lines and wrinkles
    • Tighten sagging skin- jowls and nasolabial folds
    • Improve skin texture and tone
    • Acne scarring/ discoloration
    • Body contouring
    • Cellulite and stretch marks

    How does the MORPHEUS8TM work?

MORPHEUS8TM operates with adjustable needle depths and RF energy levels tailored to the treatment plan of the individual client. To achieve skin tightening, your technician will work in the dermis of the skin composed of collagen and elastin fibres. To achieve body contouring, particularly great for the thighs and abdomen, contact is made with the subdermal tissue, the deepest skin layer.

    What happens at the appointment?

Prior to treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to reduce pain, however, it is normal to feel some pressure and discomfort. After the area is numbed, the handpiece is applied to the skin, and the needles are delivered into the skin at the programmed depth and energy. Treatment lasts approximately 30- 60 minutes depending on the size of the treated area.

What can be expected after the treatment?

After the treatment, redness, and swelling are common in the initial 24-48 hours, with some patients occasionally experiencing bruising. Crusting of the skin 24-48 hours after treatment is also normal and usually clears up within the first week of treatment. A post-procedural regimen tailored to the condition of your skin will be provided to optimise the recovery of the skin.

In the days following treatment, clients notice improved skin tone and texture however significant results are usually seen around 3 months as this is the time it takes for new collagen and elastin to be produced.

    How many sessions are required?

The majority of patients require three to five sessions to reach treatment goals, spaced at four to six-week intervals. Your treatment plan will be discussed at your initial consult and results may vary depending on skin type and severity of damage being treated.

Direct sun exposure and tanning products to the treated area is to be avoided for a minimum of one month before and post-treatment. Daily use of a zinc-based sunscreen is recommended to maintain results.

Treatment pricing for face and body indications are dependent on area, discount packages are available for both face and body.

A powerful light-based treatment to address hyperpigmentation concerns, sun damage, freckling, sun spots, and vascular issues, redness, rosacea & spider veins.

The Lumecca™ IPL treatment is a powerful and effective treatment in reducing and removing hyperpigmentation and vascular lesions in the skin, from redness, rosacea and spider veins. To sun spots, freckling, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (for example, post-acne) and sun damage pigmentation.

    • Age spots and pigmentation
    • Sun damage and freckles
    • Acne scarring
    • Rosacea
    • Broken capillaries

LUMECCA™ can be used on all areas of the body and is safe for all skin types. The most common treatment zones are areas regularly exposed to the sun. This includes face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands and arms.

    How does the LUMECCA™ work?

Using selective photothermolysis, the LUMECCA™IPL laser delivers specific wavelengths of light which interact with red and brown pigments in the skin. Pigment in the skin absorbs these light pulses which cause them to break up and fade over time. The creation of microthermal damage in the dermis results in increased collagen production and elastin, providing patients with total skin rejuvenation.

    What happens at the appointment?

Ultrasound gel will be applied to the treatment area and the eyes will be protected with goggles. A mild anaesthetic is offered but not necessary. During the treatment, there will be bright flashes of light and a sensation that feels like a light elastic band against the surface of the skin. Treatment lasts around ten minutes and you will notice the skin feels slightly ‘sunburnt’ afterwards.

What can be expected after the treatment?

For the majority of patients, redness and heat following LUMECCA™IPL usually subside the day after treatment. Local inflammation around pigmented and vascular lesions in the form of mild swelling and bruising can be expected for a few days. Pigmented lesions appear darker than usual over a period of 1-2 weeks before lightening. After treating vascular lesions, you may see the vein blanch and disappear or a colour change in the vessel which dissipates after a few days. Final results are usually evident by day 10-14 and new collagen production will continue for up to 2 months after the procedure.

    How many sessions are required?

The majority of patients reach treatment goals within two to four treatments, spaced at four-week intervals. Your treatment plan will be discussed at your initial consult and results may vary depending on skin type and severity of damage being treated.

It is important to avoid sun exposure and tanning products to the treated area for a minimum of one month before and post-treatment. Daily use of a zinc-based sunscreen is recommended to maintain results.

Sun Damage, Freckles, Sun/Age-Spots, Melasma. You Are Looking To Improve The Colour Balance & Uniformity Of The Skin.

Pigmentation comes in various forms ranging from freckling, sun spots, sun damage, or appearing as a “smudge” or mask across the face, often cheeks, forehead, and even the upper lip. Pigmentation regardless of its form or presentation can affect your skin confidence.

The underlying cause of pigmentation can be variable and is often not just a solitary factor.

We know that genetics and lifestyle are the predominant causes, from sun exposure, medications- particularly medication that causes sensitivity to light, oral contraceptive pill, hormones, acne, and sometimes even receiving treatments that were too aggressive for the skin.

AT LHA, a thorough skin assessment is taken (objective and subjective) to ensure the correct treatments are recommended to avoid the worsening of your pigmentation.

Not all treatments are suitable for all types of pigmentation, and if treated incorrectly, this can have devastating effects.

Our treatment options vary between clients, but include medical skincare, micro-needling combined with pigment inhibitors, clinical peels such as Aspect Dr Power Peels, PCA Pigment Peels & Cosmelan/Dermamelan. Lumecca IPL – a breakthrough intense pulsed light (IPL) that delivers up to 3X more energy than other devices. For more severe cases of Melasma we have a specific treatment protocol to ensure effective & long-lasting improvements of this challenging type of pigmentation, consultations are mandatory.

Suitable treatments are discussed, and a treatment plan is formed.

Face, Hands, Neck And Décolletage, Thinning Of The Skin Resulting In Transparency, Loss Of Firmness, Dehydration. You Are Looking To Tighten Hydrate & Thicken The Skin.

Ageing comes with a variety of skin changes, including a reduction of a collagen and elastin, and thinning of the epidermis and dermis.

As a result, the skin becomes more translucent, redness, broken capillaries, and veins are more visible, fine lines appear, and the texture changes to that of crepe tissue paper.

My highly regarded Skin Boosters treatment, created in Switzerland by Teoxane Laboratories with Redensity 1 addresses the thinning and works to promote beautiful, hydrated, youthful skin.

Skin Boosters is a treatment that involves injecting the skin with micro-needles, that are filled with Hyaluronic acid and a “dermo-restructuring complex” of 8 amino acids (Glycine, Lysine, Threonine, Proline, Isoleucine, Leucine, Valine and Arginine), 3 antioxidants (Glutathion, N-acetyl-L-cysteine and Alphalipoic Acid), vitamin B6 and minerals (Zinc and Copper) a powerhouse of ingredients to

Treatment is completely customizable with a wide range of applications to target dehydrated/crepey skin, discoloration/hyper-pigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles. It can be used to achieve tighter, more plump/firmer skin on the face, lower eyelid, forehead, neck, décolletage, and hands.

Another treatment that has proven to be very effective in treating delicate thinning skin is PRP.

This treatment involves taking a sample of your blood, extracting all the good collagen-producing cells, and reinjecting them back into the skin. To supercharge these collagen-producing cells and kick start them into producing collagen, I recommend combing PRP with Microneedling (Dermapen 4)

The results can take time but will be noticeable within a few treatments.

Loss Of Refinement / Strength Of The Jawline, Heaviness Around The Lower Face And Jowel Area. You Feel The Impacts Of Gravity On Your Face!

As we age, areas of fat shift and deflate, and the face’s bone structure slowly starts to reabsorb and hollow out. As a result, our skin loses its support structure which leads to changes in our facial structure / shape and the way the light reflects off the skin.  A very common concern is feeling “hollow” or “saggy”.

Strategic placement of dermal fillers can offset these underlying changes and help to “redrape” the skin.

The result can be correction of hollowing/shadows, blending areas of volume loss and a pleasing lifting of the facial tissues

Strategic placement of muscle relaxants (Botox/xeomin/Dysport) in the lower face can also “lift” the entire jawline. To best address aging and beauty concerns, the face must look balanced, this is why seeing an experienced practitioner is so important, to ensure your face is assessed correctly.

We often see people who look very youthful on their upper face but are let down by the ageing of their lower face. An overall disparity between the two areas, can lead to looking “treated” and facial imbalance.

My approach is to address the total face (don’t forget the neck and hands too!) with a combination of muscle relaxants, dermal fillers, fat dissolving agents, and dermal treatments.

Dark Under Eye Circles, Loss Of Volume, Looking Tired Or Drawn. You Want To Look Refreshed.

Feeling tired is one thing, but then looking at your reflection in the mirror and LOOKING tired is another! As we age, we take on a “tired” or “flat” appearance and just generally feel less “fresh”

Neuromodulators (antiwrinkle injections) can smooth worry and frown lines, lift jowels, mouth corners and open up the eyes.

Strategically placed dermal fillers can correct shadows, lift, and blend. Dermal Fillers can also be used to enhance facial features to beautify and sculpt.

PRP and Skin Boosters can be used to improve the texture of the skin and correct dark circles around the eyes.

Active Acne, Acute Or Chronic, Scarring, Textural/Colour Changes.

Acne can dramatically affect your self-confidence,  it can strike us at varying stages of life and is not only embarrassing, and uncomfortable, but it can also result in scarring and textural changes.

Acne can occur for a multitude of reasons, from medication, hormones, stress, gut health, ineffective skincare regimen, lifestyle, and genetics.

During your Skin Consultation, a thorough skin assessment will be taken, and recommendations will be made to assist in the improvement of your acne through medical-grade skincare, nutritional support/supplements, lifestyle/skin practice recommendations, and in-clinic treatments such as combined LED & clinical peels, micro-needling, and Platelet-Rich Plasma.

Sometimes medication is required and if so, I will refer you to a suitable practitioner and work along side you.

Acne scarring can be either depressed or raised. These present in three main types, boxcar, icepick, rolling and combinations of the three, along with post acne redness/inflammation, and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Most acne scar treatments attempt to either remove or replace abnormal tissue, to stimulate new collagen formation to fill in the old scars. I favor micro-needling for acne scarring, specifically Dermapen 4 with scar-specific technology, with or without platelet-rich plasma. Filers can also be successfully used to improve the appearance of scarring.

You Have Developed Stretch Marks, New Or Existing. You Would Like To Fade These To Feel More Confident.

Stretch Marks new or old, a large percentage of women, and men experience stretch marks somewhere on our bodies. Whether it be from weight gain, hormonal changes, pregnancy or genetics, the DermaPen 4 with Platelet Rich Plasma provides impressive results for fading stretch marks. Dermal needling with the Deramapen 4 using scar treatment settings can also be used without PRP with scar-specific Meso-glide Serums to aid in scar recovery.

Feeling Aged, Weathered, Tired, Your Reflection Does Not Represent How You Are Feeling. You Want To Feel Great For Your Age!

Aging is a privilege, but sadly, it comes with drastic physical changes to our skin and physical appearance, a reflection that often does not quite match how we are feeling inside. For some, this can be a slow progressive change, for others it can happen with pace, leaving us feeling not quite as fresh as we used to.

Expression lines become deeper, and often a permanent feature, leaving us looking angry, tired or sad. The corners of our mouth droop, which can make us look sad, we lose volume in our face that alludes to a tired and drawn appearance.

Excess fat and skin collects along the jawline, and our skin texture and tone tells the tales of years living in our harsh New Zealand climate.

I favour ageing gracefully, and keeping my clients looking “age appropriate” through personalised, undetectable treatments that address all facets of the skin and how it is affected by the throes of aging.

Muscular age related concerns are addressed through the careful placement of neuromodulstors such as Botox/Dysport & Xeomin. Used to address expression lines such as forehead lines and crows feet, and can also be used to lift parts of the lower face through relaxing depressor muscles.

From a structural level, artfully placed dermal fillers can be used to restore youth through replenishing lost volume. Most commonly the mid face & temples are addressed first, as these areas quickly and directly affect the tissues in the lower face. Radiesse biostimulant dermal filler can also be used in certain areas (including necks & hands) to rapidly stimulate collagen to grow in the area injected, to then replace the dermal filler with your own natural collagen, great for thinning or crepe-like skin.

On a more superficial level, the skin surface can be restored to optimum health through the use of appropriately prescribed medical grade skin care. Combined with in clinic skin rejuvenation treatments such as clinical peels, micro needling, platelet rich plasma or skin boosters using Teoxane Redensity Skin rejuvenation treatments ensure that our skin and underlying soft tissues (e.g. fat and ligaments) have an adequate supply of healthy collagen-producing cells by replenishing them through collagen inducing treatments.

Enhance Existing Facial Features, Balance, Beautify, You Want To Look The Very Best Version Of Your Natural Self.

Beautification or Enhancement in my clinic, is about working with your own natural beauty, with consideration to what is “aesthetically beautiful” to the eye.

Facial Beauty is thought to be determined by proportions, symmetry and light reflection.

Throughout my years of training in aesthetic medicine, a large focus of injectables is on facial harmony, proportions, and ratios. Using these skills, I assess the face and use subtle, specifically placed treatments, whether this is through dermal fillers or anti-wrinkle injections, to enhance your facial features.

Dermal Fillers are used to enhance cheekbones, improve lips, add definition to jawlines, improve sharpening of the chin, and will enhance the way light is reflected from the face, similar to how we would use concealer or highlighter.

Anti-wrinkle injections can lift, improve symmetry, and also re-shape the face towards a more aesthetically pleasing oval shape.

I pride myself on natural results with high patient satisfaction, my extensive experience within the industry has enabled me to develop an artistic, aesthetic eye and skill set to assess and deliver on beautiful results.

Regain Confidence In The Clothing You Wear, Through Effectively Treating Excessive Sweating Under The Arms.

Botox® /Dysport® & Xeomin® have been safely used for the treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) for many years with a very high success rate. The treatment is relatively quick, and virtually pain free, Botox® /Dysport® & Xeomin® is administered through a very fine needle into the affected skin, with results seen within 2 weeks, lasting 6-12 months, or longer with repeat treatments. It is important to note that complete cessation of sweating is not the ideal outcome, but to reduce the excessive sweating down to a more tolerable level for the client. I offer three FDA approved products and will discuss your options with you during consultation.

Hyperhidrosis can affect both men and women, and can be an embarrassing condition to live with, affecting confidence, clothing choice, social interactions and can become both expensive and frustrating. The main complaint tends to be excessive sweating under the arms. This is often a concern as clothing becomes damp, stained and must be changed several times a day and can cause chafing, irritant dermatitis and infection.

Hyperhidrosis is caused by overactivity of sweat glands in the skin. The glands exist in various concentrations throughout the skin. Sweat glands function to maintain body temperature within a narrow range in the face of external heat or increase in physical activity. Sweat evaporates on the surface of the skin and transfers heat, primarily by direct conduction of heat from the vascular supply to the skin surface. In hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) although the glands themselves are normal, there is an abnormal neurologic response to stimuli in the hypothalamic sweat centres in the brain which produces an excessive amount of sweating. There can be up to 4 million sweat glands in the body, and they are concentrated in the palms, soles, and under the armpits

Anxiety or stress as well as heat or exercise stimulates sympathetic nerves to release acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter (nerve messenger) that then stimulates the muscle around the sweat glands to contract. Contraction of the sweat gland causes sweat to release. This is where Botox® /Dysport® or Xeomin® come into action- it blocks the message from the Acetylcholine getting through to the muscle. The muscle will not contract if the message is not received, therefore, the sweat gland will not be triggered!

Hyperhidrosis can be classified as primary or secondary, primary is not due to any underlying medical conditions, can be easily treated with Botox® / Dysport® or Xeomin® and is the most common cause of hyperhidrosis. Secondary is often associated with underlying physiological changes such as endocrine and metabolic disorders, conditions affecting the cardiovascular and respiratory system and many other conditions. These conditions need to be identified and treated, but symptoms can be helped with Botox® /Dysport® or Xeomin®. There are other hyperhidrosis treatments available, including surgical intervention, however these do come with a much higher risk of side-effects.

Book an initial consultation for an assessment to see if this treatment is appropriate for you.

Improve The Health Of The Scalp Using PRP, Give Thinning Or Lack-Lustre Hair The Best Chance At Growth And Prevention Of Further Loss.

Anyone experiencing hair loss is essentially a good candidate for PRP treatments, but those with early hair loss tend to respond best. PRP is best used for patients with androgenic alopecia, which is a genetically determined type of hair thinning that typically occurs along the top of the head, In women, this might look like a widening part with normal hair thickness at the back of the head.

Your blood is rich in red blood cells, white blood cells and plasma. The plasma contains white blood cells and platelets, which are rich in growth factors. A small collection of blood is taken, similar to a blood test, and is processed into special tubes in a centrifuge device, to separate the red blood cells, resulting in a concentration of your own bodies platelets & growth factors. At my clinic, I inject the PRP, and microneedle it into the scalp, an enhanced treatment of PRP not only injected at follicular level, but microneedled into the scalp, the combination is incredibly effective. Numbing cream is applied to the scalp to increase comfort, the treatment takes around 45-60 minutes and is well tolerated. Growth factors, in a sense, play the role of messengers, signaling skin cells to function. They have been used in medicine to treat a range of health issues, including arthritis, tendon repairs, signs of aging, etc. Growth factors can help stimulate the activity of the hair follicles and promote new hair growth. Existing Wrinkles Whether Deep Or Fine, Prevention Or Future Proofing. You Just Want To Feel Fresher, Not Different.

Existing Wrinkles Whether Deep Or Fine, Prevention Or Future Proofing. You Just Want To Feel Fresher, Not Different.
Regular use of muscle relaxants Botox® /Dysport® & Xeomin® can reduce current, and prevent certain lines and wrinkles from forming. Frown lines, upper forehead lines and lines around the eyes, are common areas of concern that I address frequently.

Wrinkle prevention is a common treatment within my clinic, personalised dosage, no minimum spend, packages or bundles which can seem enticing, however you are often paying for more than you need. Unfortunately, unskilled attempts to prevent wrinkles, can result in over or innapropriate treatment, resulting in very unnatural, tell-tale results, with a lack of natural expression. I treat to allow for wrinkle reduction, cost efficiency, and a natural look.

For clients who present with exisiting lines, we can prevent them from getting worse and make significant improvements with time, sometimes they will not disappear completely with anti wrinkle injections alone, but can be further improved with dermal fillers, or microneedling.

There is a fine art in softening, balancing and reducing excessive movement whilst maintaining natural facial expressions.
